PERMISSION TO COMMENCE ADMISSION PROCESS
 


 
The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (D.E.) Government of India has issued the Letter of Permission (L.O.P.) for admission of 1st batch of 50 BDS students for the Academic year 2006-07 to Uttaranchal Dental & Medical Research Institute Mazri Grant, Doiwala, Dehradun, Vide their Letter No. F.No.12017/11/2004-DE Dated 15th July 2006.
  
   
   
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
     
 
A.
The Prospectus and Applicant Forms may be obtained by post or in person from the office of the principal, Chairman/Managing Director of Uttaranchal Dental & Medical Research of the Institute.
     
 
B.
The candidate requesting for Prospectus and Application/Advance Registration Form by post are required to enclose a self-addressed envelope measuring 25x18 cm., with Indian Postal Stamp worth Rs.50/..(for speed post) affixed on it.
     
 
C.
 The form is required to be filled neatly and legible by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.
     
 
D.
Send dully filled form to: Admission Co-Ordinator UTTARANCHAL DENTAL & MEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE. Every form must be accompanied by the certified true copies of the testimonials attested by Gazetted Officer of State/Central Govt. or by Principal of the college.
     
 
E.
Admission will be given to the candidates selected as per nomination or criteria laid down by the management committee as applicable. The selected candidates will be called for admission by post. Original Certificate and mark sheet must be presented for security at the time of admission.
     
 
F.
Any discrepancy, incorrectness or tampering of mark sheet detected either at the time of scrutiny or later will lead to summarily expulsion from college without any refund' of fees. This will also debar the candidate from seeking admission to this institute in future.
     
 
G.
 List of certificates/Mark sheet to be enclosed.
   
i.
High School or equivalent examination, showing the date of birth (no other evidence of candidate's date of birth shall be accepted).
  
ii. Mark sheet of intermediate/equivalent qualification.  
iii. Conduct certificate from the principal/head of the College/Institution last attend.  
iv. Transfer/Migration Certificate from the school/college last attended, at the time of admission.  
v. Certificates regarding Extra-Curricular Activities (if any).  
     
    Delay in submission of a particular certificate may be permitted subject to the previous permission granted by the authority. In no case this delay will be allowed on or after the due date and time. Failure to produce such certificates, Mark sheet etc. in original at the time of scrutiny will summarily reject his/her application/selection.
     
    CANCELLATION OF THE ADMISSION
 
     
I. If any candidate offered admission does not pay the prescribed fees and complete the other formalities within the date specified or such date as may be extended by the competent authority,the offer will be treated as cancelled. The seat will be offered to the next eligible candidate on the merit list of the group. The Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay or delay due to any other causes in the receipt of the notification of admission to the candidates. It is advised that college notice board should be seen regularly in this period.  
     
II.
The admission offered to the candidate shall be cancelled later if committee declares that candidate is not eligible for admission due to non-fulfillment of the conditions of admission as per university/Institution rule. The decision of the institute will be final.
  
     
III.
Even if a candidate has paid the fee but fails to join the Institute within a fortnight of the date of payment of fees or remains absent for more than fortnight without prior written permission of the principal the admission of such a candidate will be cancelled, and no fees will be refunded. Such candidate will be liable for damage sustained by the college due to his/her failure.
  
     
IV. If any information supplied by the student in connection with his/her admission is later on found to be incorrected or false we/she shall be liable to be expelled from the Institute and the fees paid by him shall not be refunded. The decision of Managing Committee in this regarded shall be final. This shall also apply to those who suppress or delay the information at the time of admission.
